CHASSI DE EXPANSÃOConnect and Power the fastest USB 3.2 SSDs Transfer Files From 20Gbps USB-C SSDs at Maximum Speed Your computer’s USB ports are perfectly adequate…for connecting peripherals that don’t depend on the ultimate USB 3.2 speeds. Onboard USB ports can be underachievers — at 5Gbps or 10Gbps, they can’t support the maximum performance of USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 storage devices — up to 2000 MB/s — and may not provide enough power to enable them to operate. With Sonnet Allegro™ Max USB-C 20Gbps 1-Port PCIe Card installed into a PCIe® card slot of your Mac Pro® (requires macOS® Sonoma 14.4 or later), Windows or Linux computer, you can upgrade to the benefits of SuperSpeed 20Gbps USB-C®! |
Full Power
Sonnet engineered the Allegro Max card to provide 15W of power through its USB-C port. The port communicates to the host that 3A of VBUS current is available, enabling this Sonnet solution to support USB-C bus-powered SSDs and SSD RAID devices that need 15W during demanding write operations.
No Auxiliary Power Connection Required
Ordinary USB-C adapter cards handle power delivered through their ports as an afterthought, requiring the user to connect a separate power connector. Allegro Max USB-C 20Gbps 1-Port PCIe Card is no ordinary adapter card. The Sonnet card draws its power completely through its slot, thus enabling full compatibility in any computer system that doesn’t have these power connectors available.
Resettable Fuse
The Allegro Max card features a resettable fuse to protect the card and your computer in case there is a cable or peripheral short circuit. Should the fuse trip on the Sonnet card, you can reset it simply by shutting down the computer.
Transfer Files at Up to 2000 MB/s!
